How refunds work for this type of business

USAPRO LLC, operating Design Growth Hub, provides strategic, creative, technical, and advisory services for interior design studios and design-led businesses. That work is customized, time-based, and built around each client’s market, website, positioning, and visibility goals.

Because this is not a physical-goods business, refunds are not handled like product returns. Once planning, research, strategy, writing, technical implementation, or delivery work has begun, time and value have already been committed in a way that usually cannot be reversed or resold.

Cancellation before work begins

If you need to cancel before substantive work begins, please contact us as soon as possible at help@growinteriors.com. We review early cancellation requests in good faith and aim to handle them fairly.

Amounts paid for work that has not yet started are generally eligible for review. However, clearly identified discovery fees, scheduling fees, kickoff preparation, reserved strategy time, or other amounts tied to capacity already held for your project may be non-refundable once booked or committed.

Once work has started

If work has already started, refunds are typically limited to any portion of fees that clearly relate to work not yet performed. Time already spent and value already delivered are not refundable.

This includes, where applicable, discovery sessions, audits, consulting, research, messaging work, strategy documents, drafts, content development, design directions, technical setup, implementation work, reporting, and revision time already used.

Deposits, retainers, milestones, and delivered work

  • Deposits and retainers are used to reserve project capacity and begin work. Once that capacity has been committed or work has started, those amounts are generally non-refundable.
  • Milestone payments cover the phase of work they are tied to. Once that phase has been delivered, substantially delivered, or materially worked on, the related payment is generally non-refundable.
  • Completed or substantially delivered work is not refundable.
  • Refunds are not issued solely because a client changes direction, pauses internally, or decides not to continue after work has already begun.

Project pause or client cancellation

If a project is paused or cancelled by the client after work has started, fees already earned remain due and non-refundable. Any unpaid balance for work already completed, delivered, or substantially in progress may still be invoiced.

If there is future work that has not yet been started, we may stop further billing for that unused portion where appropriate. If the engagement needs to resume later, a new timeline, scope confirmation, or reactivation fee may be required depending on the gap and remaining work.

Ongoing or recurring services

Some engagements may include monthly support, recurring visibility work, or retained advisory time. If your engagement includes ongoing billing, you may request cancellation before the next billing cycle begins.

Amounts already billed for the current cycle are generally not refundable once the service period has started, especially where work has been scheduled, reviewed, delivered, or set aside for your account.

Duplicate charges or payment errors

If you believe you were charged twice or billed in error, please contact us before filing a formal dispute with your bank or card issuer. We will investigate promptly and, if an error occurred, correct it as quickly as possible.

If a refund is approved, it will be sent back to the original payment method used for the charge. Bank and card processing timelines vary and may take several business days to appear on your statement.

Questions or billing concerns

If you have a billing concern, refund request, or cancellation question, please contact Design Growth Hub first at help@growinteriors.com or through the contact page on this website. We would much rather resolve issues directly, clearly, and fairly than have a misunderstanding escalate unnecessarily.
